My first interview in Austin..have to admit, not getting called back had me feeling a tad bit defeated– but just for kicks still found these pics to be pretty hilarious, thanks to Aaron my photog for playing along..lol

I can say that sitting on my butt (was nice for a while) is now getting really old. Here I am in Austin for over a week now, a city that I now call home. So on to the next step..find a J-O-B. No thanks to the economy, us gen y-ers are somewhat shafted. I kinda had hopes and dreams of doing something besides serving after receiving my diploma. Now I know why people were telling me “not to rush.” Not to mention the stiff competition in a city full of countless recent grads from one of the nations biggest Universities that plan on staying in Austin. Which I don’t blame them, everyone I have met so far is full of city pride and love it here and never intend on leaving; not very many cities can boast that;) Slowly but surely I am starting to see what its all about. So here goes…job hunting..wish me luck!
After I get the job..hope to find some good local artwork..fill these blank walls
Yes after a long drive finally made it! Spent a week driving around, and filling up our apartment with good local finds on craigslist:) Neat town, its growing on us already..!
